I kinda understand why they cancelled but am so angry at the lack of options.  We are left on our own to try to piece together an affordable vacation  at this late date.  Why can't Carnival help us with options for those who can't reschedule air flights?

  1. It has been very frustrating. I told Carnival on the phone yesterday that we all deserve cash compensation but I'm sure my suggestion will go nowhere. I hope you can still end up having a good vacation.

  2. Hope your alternate plans are going well, Lisa. We've spent the better part of 2 days on the phone trying to cancel all of our plans, and coming up with another option. I agree that Carnival is doing nothing to assist. My calls and emails to our PVP have gone unanswered, although Gary did reach someone in Guest Relations who was helpful. 25% hardly seems like sufficient compensation - when Princess cancelled my brother/sister-in-law's cruise, they were given a free cruise. At any rate, we are leaving on April 2 for Rome, then Venice and Florence for a few days. Hardly the "once in a lifetime" cruise we were hoping for.
    Once again, thank you for all your hard work and efforts into tour planning, and perhaps we'll be lucky to meet you again in future.
